Release notes

Faster to search, simpler to filter, easier to work in.

This update sharpens the parts of REALVIEW.one you use most — finding the right process in a long list, filtering it the same way every time, and getting your work done without small frictions getting in the way. Here's everything that changed.

Highlights

The biggest changes

New

Search across the app

A search bar now sits on top of your Documents, Approval Processes and Project lists. Type a keyword to filter instantly — built for lists that run into the hundreds of processes.

New

Filters that work the same everywhere

Every filter now behaves identically: a Select all / Deselect all toggle, its own search, and a one-click × on active filters to clear them. Close without applying and your changes are discarded.

New

Copy text from anywhere

Process titles, descriptions, numbers and the content of completed stages are now selectable, so you can copy and reuse them.

Improved

Rename completed processes

You can now edit the title of a process even after it has been completed — no need to leave it locked to its original name.

Improved

Easier scrolling in the process list

In the Approval Process list, horizontal and vertical scrollbars now stay visible, and you can scroll by dragging with the mouse — no zooming the page out to find the bars.

New

File previews on hover are back

Hover over a supported file to see a thumbnail preview again, so you can recognise its content without opening it.

At a glance

Everything in this update

New

  • Search across Documents, Processes and Projects — filter long lists by typing a keyword.
  • Unified, predictable filters — the same filter behaviour everywhere, with select-all / clear and per-filter search.
  • Copy text from anywhere — titles, descriptions, process numbers and completed-stage content are now selectable.
  • Guided first-time setup — a welcome screen walks new users through creating their company.
  • File previews on hover — hover a supported file to see a thumbnail again, without opening it.
  • See all project members — a full member list on the dashboard, with role filter and search.

Improved

  • Seamless refreshes and updates — your session is kept, so a refresh or new version takes you straight back to your work.
  • Smoother on small screens — editing a process stage on a narrow window or mobile no longer freezes the page.
  • A clearer Approval Process list — balanced column widths, always-visible scrollbars with drag-to-scroll, and clearer multi-select fields.
  • Rename completed processes — edit a process title after completion.
  • Text fields that grow as you type — multi-line fields expand to fit your text.
  • Helpful tooltips for access and licensing — “full access” is explained, and project licences show which project they belong to.
  • Faster favourites — adding and removing favourites is noticeably quicker.

Fixed

  • Column settings stay open while you configure them — choosing which columns the Approval Process list shows no longer closes the menu after each change.
  • Consistent document zoom — zooming behaves the same with the scroll wheel and the buttons, and the zoom level is always shown.
  • Loading indicator when opening folders — folders show a loading indicator instead of briefly suggesting they are empty.
  • Clearer process details — the source template version is shown, paused stages without a comment read correctly, and your “to-do” marker clears once your part is done.
  • Straight into your new company — creating a company now opens it directly instead of returning to the overview.
  • Filter dialog fits the screen — the Apply button is always reachable, even on smaller displays.
  • Correct icons on shared links — shared pages show the right file-type and folder icons.

In detail

The full story, by area

01Search & filters

Finding and filtering, reworked

Search is now built into your lists. A search bar sits on top of the table in Documents, Approval Processes and the Project list, and clearly indicates it searches that list only. Type a term and the list narrows to matching items — designed for projects with hundreds of processes, where finding the right one by keyword used to mean a lot of scrolling.

Filters now behave the same everywhere. We've brought every filter in REALVIEW.one onto one consistent model. An active filter shows how many options are selected and a small × to clear it in one click. Inside the dialog, a Select all / Deselect all toggle handles long option lists, a search field helps you find an option quickly, and your edits only take effect when you press Apply — closing the dialog any other way discards them.

02Approval processes

Working with processes

Copy what you need. Read-only details — titles, descriptions, process numbers, and the contributions recorded in completed stages — are now selectable, so you can copy and reuse them. Rename after completion. You can edit a process title even once the process is finished.

A list that's easier to navigate. Column widths are balanced so the process number takes less room and the name takes more. Horizontal and vertical scrollbars stay visible and you can now scroll by dragging with the mouse, so the list is usable at any zoom level. Choosing which columns the list shows no longer closes the menu after each change, so you can set several at once. Multi-select option fields now use checkboxes, making them clearly distinct from single-select fields.

Smoother editing and clearer detail. Multi-line text fields grow as you type instead of trapping text in a small box. The template version a process was created from is shown again, a stage paused without a comment now reads correctly (no stray empty quotation marks), and your personal “to-do” marker clears as soon as you've completed your part of a stage — even while the stage as a whole continues.

03Documents

Working with documents

Previews on hover are back. Hovering over a supported file again shows a thumbnail, so you can recognise content without opening it. Clear loading states. Opening a folder with a lot of content shows a loading indicator while it arrives, rather than briefly suggesting the folder is empty.

A steadier viewer. Zooming images and PDFs is consistent whether you use the scroll wheel or the buttons, and the current zoom level is always visible. Process status now appears in the documents list as soon as you create a process, and shared links show the correct file-type and folder icons, matching what you see inside REALVIEW.one.

04Dashboard

Your project dashboard

The members section gains a “See all” button that opens the full member list, with a role filter and a search by name, so you can find who's on the project without leaving the dashboard.

05Getting started

Getting started & your account

New users no longer arrive at an empty screen wondering what to do. A welcome screen now explains the first step — creating a company — and guides you through it. Once you create a company, REALVIEW.one takes you straight into it instead of returning to the company overview.

06Performance & polish

Performance & polish

Refreshing the page and moving to a new version are now seamless: your session is kept, so you go straight back to where you were. Editing a process stage on a narrow window or mobile device no longer freezes the page, and adding or removing favourites is noticeably faster.

A few smaller refinements round things out: tooltips explain what the full access permission grants and which project a licence belongs to, and the general filter dialog now fits within the screen on smaller displays, so the Apply button is always reachable.
